-When BASES ARE THE SAME, and you are MULTIPLYING, you ADD EXPONENTS -EXPONENT TO A EXPONENT = MULTIPLY -When ADDING FRACTIONS, the denominator needs to be the same -When MULTIPLYING FRACTIONS, line up the fraction and multiply straight across Please take a look at the attached examples for extra help.
